Or am I the only one that is experiencing this?
I have noticed that when driving in foggy conditions, there is a little patch of windshield on the left side in front of the driver that gets obscured by the moist air when driving down the road.
It looks as though it has to do with airflow around the base of the left windshield wiper.
This one little spot will eventually make in necessary to run the wipers when the rest of the windscreen is still clear.
Has anyone else seen this?
Is there a remedy?
Maybe drills some holes in the base of the wiper arm to mess with the air flow in that area?
There's got to be a fix for this..

are you using straight wiper blades or ones with wings on them. i know the wings can promote such issues. i drove a spider for 20 years in the fog of oregon and dont remember it being much of a bother. dont think drilling holes in the wiper arms will do much more than weaken the arms. if it were me, i would see if i could find some small plastic blades i could clip to the cowling grill to deflect air to the area. will take some fooling around.
