The 72 had the antenna mounted front passenger but I closed it off and will put it on the rear driver side.

Mik, that comes from breathing all those solvent fumes! I'm trying to remember, but i think my 70 came with no radio. the only antenna hole was on the PS side of the cowling. dont remember if i drilled it or if it was always there. this is also an example of too much solvent breathing

My '72 had the antenna in the left rear because that is where the dealer put it. As far as I can recall, a radio was a dealer installed option and the antenna mount was not pre-drilled at the factory.
