Top & Upholstery

Post by courtenay »

Thought I'd start a new thread on this one...on GA's Top update thread, Wikkid noted another supplier. These guys have both upholstery and top options. Has anybody used them?

I don't know them either. But their picture of an early Spider makes their seats look terrible. All droopy and wrinkled. I can't believe they posted that picture.

I think it's great that there are some options out there for us.It wasnt that long ago that you couldnt find these type of products ,or vendors willing to stock/manufacture them.

mr. courtenay is that your car in the photo? I was wondering if that the top is cloth or vinyl? I'm considering a top real soon, don't have one, I'm using my hard top. It's a different look.

Yep - it is my car and it is the original vinyl top. My car only has 40000 miles and from all I can gather about its history has very rarely been driven in the rain. While the top itself is in pretty good shape, the window is quite cloudy. The good news is that I have other vehicles that I drive in the rain and my Fiat is very rarely driven with the top up. The day that picture was taken was the day I bought the car and drove it home. It was January and cold - but not raining!

CS1 has square corners where it attaches to the windshield, CS2 are rounded. Change occurred in late 78 or early 79 I believe.

I bought mine from Cuarupholsteryguys, leather seats and hartz top... $1080 inc shipping to Canada.

Very beautiful.
Due to recent budget cuts and the rising cost of electricity, gas, and oil, we have decided to turn off the light at the end of the tunnel. We apologize for any inconvenience.
