Can someone chime in and let me know if the straight centre link will fit on a 1978 1/2 124 spider. Bought it on e-bay with the tie rods included ,the seller said it will fit

I forgot to mention,I have a 2litre engine in the car.So the link will not rub against the oil pan at all on turns.
